West Valley Hospital located in Dallas, Oregon, a part of Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics, has served the community for more than 100 years. It is the proud home of Polk County’s only 24-hour emergency department, extending round-the-clock care to Dallas, Monmouth, Independence, and surrounding rural communities. The recently remodeled and expanded Hospital offers a wide range of services including: emergency, imaging, lab, surgery, rehabilitation, and so much more.

Your Role With Us:

As part of this tight-knit group of healthcare professionals, you will apply your problem-solving methodologies for benefit of patients, clinical staff and the patient care area. Background/Expertise:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in acute care, ambulatory care, emergency care preferred
  • Prefer completion of one (1) year of nursing school within the last two (2) years.
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required within 90 days.

Requires ONE of the following to be considered for hire:

  • CNA certification
  • EMT B certification
  • Enrolled in an accredited nursing school
  • Previous experience as an ED Tech or in a comparable role (i.e. CMA, UAP).
